To Glow In Her Wedding to on Her Wedding

December 4, 2017

Every girl dreams of her fairytale wedding and how she can look her pretty best while the groom is busy gazing at her. Prepping up the skin for the big day is one of the prime aspects to take care of. You will be running around shopping, stress already building up, staying up all night talking to your fiancé, which results in the poor and dull looking skin.
Considering the pride’s hectic schedule here are the simplified major hacks that can help you get rid of the dull layer and make your skin glow for long.

Start Early

The sooner you start, the better you will get that picture perfect skin. Consult a dermatologist at least a month early to know your skin better and treat it for a flawless look.

A definite skin regime

No matter what, prepping up your skin every day is a must! Follow a proper cleansing-exfoliating and moisturizing skin care regimen for better results. This helps to remove the dead cells and clean the dirt which gets accumulated over the time.

Pre-wedding Facials

Consult an expert and pamper your skin with the soothing spa treatments and massages. This is also a key skin care hack to rejuvenate the look and feel of your skin. Homemade masks are also a fad these days due to its slow but sure results. Use ingredients like oats, potato, honey, yogurt and turmeric which you easily find in your kitchen. Simple!

Resort to good quality products

Picking up the right product is the first step for skin care regime. Beauty products with harsh and heavy chemicals are a strict no-no. Also, if you are into experimenting phase try a couple of months before so that you can cover the side effects if any.

Drink Plenty Of Water

Ideally, it should be minimum 8 glasses of water that you need to consume every day. But if you fail to stick to the quantity try setting a goal to finish at least 2 bottles of water and treat yourself with your favorite brownie on completing the goal.

Pamper your lips

Lips being the main asset needs an equal amount of pampering too. Scrub your lips with sugar, honey, and lemon once in a week that can exfoliate your skin.

Oil control treatment

It is a serious greasy affair when your face shines and messes up your look with the excess oil. While scrubbing is good to curb the excess oil, overdoing it is not healthy. It is recommended to use an alcohol-free toner and matte products. Don’t skip moisturizing and instead go for non-greasy moisturizer.

Facial Hair

Who wants to look hairy fairy in their wedding? Threading, waxing, bleaching can work but test your skin before you opt for any of the above. Using turmericpaste regularly is also believed to lighten the hair texture and reduce the growth.

Say no to sodium

If you are cool with the dryness of skin, dehydration and under eye circles, you can continue with your daily heavy sodium intake. If no, limit your consumption now! Junk foods are the main cause of the high intake. So ladies, say no junk ladies!

Eat Healthily

Keep a check on your eating habits. A healthy diet with veggies, lentils, pulses, fruits, fibers is essential. Make sure to include at least five of them per day.

Meditate/ Excercise

When you are stress-free it automatically reflects on your face. Exercising for the at least 15 minutes and thrice a week can bring out a big change. If exercising is not your acumen try relaxing with basic meditation routine. Start with 3 minutes and gradually increase the time.

Vitamin Supplements

Most of the time dermatologist recommend vitamins A and C for acne-prone skin. Again, consult an expert before you pop in one.

Sleep Well

If not like a baby, at least squeeze in a quick power nap for 20 minutes and you will feel the energetic instantly as you wake up. It is the powerful method to help your body and brain relax.

Banish unhealthy habits

Unhealthy habits like smoking can have adverse effects too. Your skin ages prematurely, lips darken and signs of wrinkles show up early. Also gorging on desserts excessively results in sagging skin and wrinkles.
